My artistic journey began with art supply gifts at Christmas in my childhood and weekly library visits at age five, discovering drawing books that became my first teachers. While other children read, I doodled in the margins of "The Wind in the Willows," creating illustrations that were extensions of how I processed the world.
This early foundation of constant observation and visual interpretation laid the groundwork for my unique artistic vision. However, life had other plans first.
During my professional career in industry and finance, art remained a cherished hobby. My father's wisdom resonated: "Earn your money first, and keep your art as your hobby." I stole moments for creativity by taking occasional art classes, sketching during quiet evenings, always keeping that artistic flame alive.
Now, in retirement, I have come full circle. The same curiosity that drove me to study tree branches as a child now inspires me to see the hidden abstract beauty in the carefully crafted dishes of world-renowned chefs. Those hours spent drawing from library books taught me to look beyond the surface and translate essence into visual language.
Today, as ROSC ART, I transform culinary masterpieces into abstract art. The medium has evolved, but the heart remains the same as that five-year-old with a library card, endlessly curious about capturing the world's beauty through art.
My visionary culinary art allows others to take home the memory of extraordinary culinary moments. Each piece carries the same wonder I felt discovering those first art books, echoing the early sketches made while reading classic tales.
This is ROSC ART born from childhood wonder, nurtured by endless curiosity, and dedicated to revealing extraordinary beauty in exceptional gastronomic moments.
I chose ROSC ART as my brand name because ROSC comes from Old Irish and means a short poem, but for the first international art exhibition organized in Ireland, it is interpreted as "The poetry of vision." The exhibition took place every four years from 1967 to 1988. The ROSC exhibitions were quite controversial due to the absence of Irish artists in ROSC'67 and ROSC'71 as well as the general lack of female artistic representation.
My work begins by photographing the exquisite dishes of world-renowned chefs – each plate is a masterpiece of creativity, technique, and art. Through digital transformation using Photoshop, I reinvent these culinary creations as abstract art pieces that capture not only visual beauty, but the emotion and memory of the gastronomic experience.
The result is art that adds a new dimension to the skills of world-renowned chefs. When you have experienced an extraordinary meal, my art allows you to bring that moment home – not only have you eaten the dish, now you have an artwork that symbolizes that special moment.

My collaboration with Chef René Mathieu represents a revolutionary fusion of culinary excellence and visual art. Working directly with dishes from his 1 Michelin Star restaurant Fields in Luxembourg, I transform his meticulously crafted presentations into abstract art pieces that capture the essence and emotion of haute gastronomy.
Each piece begins with photographing René's original dish, which I then reinvent through my artistic vision, creating artworks that preserve the memory and emotion of extraordinary culinary moments while translating them into a new visual language.

Using advanced Photoshop techniques, I transform culinary photography into abstract composition that captures the essence and emotion of the dish.
I create both custom fine art acrylic prints and custom original mixed media paintings, each piece unique and museum-quality.
For acrylic prints, the size can be from 50x50 cm upwards depending on the quality of the original photo. I only print a limited numbered series of 5 prints per photo or less if requested. There is only one original painting per print with an average size 120x100 cm.
